FHC and First Hospital Panamericano are subsidiaries of UHS. Our integrated system provides flexibility in creating education models of access to all levels of mental health services. The Pan American Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission and is the largest mental health facility on the island with 260 beds, three strategic locations in San Juan, Ponce and Cidra. Additionally it has 7 centers of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) in the towns of Caguas, Bayamón, Ponce, Humacao, Manatí, Mayagüez, and San Juan.
